When I enter the command to open a link in a new window, the numbered tags only appear on links that don't open in a new windwo by default. This is very annoying becasue there's no way to know if a link opens in a new window by default just by looking at it.

Similarly, it would be nice if the normal link-opening command would open links that open in a new window by default in the same window. This might be a good idea becasue there would otherwise be no way of opening such links in the same widnow, and it gives the user more control and less surprises.

There's a patch for the "open link in same window" on one of my branches[1]. Do you have an example website where "new window" links aren't labeled? I always get labels on reddit where I have it set to open comments and headline links in a new window by default.

Actaully, I tried with a link that I know opens in a new window and it worked fine.

I just remember following a Google result, using follow link in new window, and the link didn't show. Then I tried withthe normal follow link, and it opened in a new window. It won't really be practical for me to find that site again.

Ah. I'll close it in the meantime. If you find another instance of this happening, it'd be nice to document it here.
